By Car

From Lecce: Take the ss.16 towards Maglie/S.M.di Leuca, bypass Maglie and take the ss. 275 towards Leuca until you see signs for Spongano on your left.

Once you arrive in Spongano, go straight on through the main square - Piazza Vittoria, after 400 m you reach Piazza Bacile. With the main entrance of the palazzo in front of you, follow the road round to the left then turn right and right again (following the palazzo walls). On your right is the entrance for Tabacchi, Studio Fattore, Casotto Barone - 2, Via Paolo Emilio Stasi. Further on down the same road at number 28b you will find the entrance for Casotto Martino, Casotto Caterina, Casotto Nuovo.

By Train

Change at Lecce for a local train - Ferrovie Sud Est - to Spongano.

Upon leaving the station, walk straight ahead on Via Pio Xii after crossing the main road. After around 6-8 minutes. You will see a small parade of shops on your left hand side. This includes a small supermarket, a mobile phone shop and a butchers. Take the next turning left onto Via Paolo Emilio Stasi. Both entrances to the Palazzo are a short way up the street on your left.

Spongano
