Welcome to Palazzo Bacile
Located in the Salentine town of Spongano, this superbly restored palazzo is situated in a vast walled garden with a superb swimming pool, citrus groves, palm trees, a herb garden and its own small oak wood.
Its serene environment makes it a perfect place for complete relaxation as well as a ideal base for exploring this exciting and diverse area of Southern Italy.
Sleeping from 2 to 32 people in a broad range of accommodation - from the grand apartments of Tabacchi Sotto with its immense reception rooms to intimate cottages in the grounds - Palazzo Bacile offers the perfect retreat for couples, families and larger groups of friends. For 2018, we have added a new cottage: Cassotto Colombaia
Palazzo Bacile is an ideal place to hold events and attend courses; Cooking and other courses are available throughout the year providing opportunities to explore regional cusine, draw inspiration from the Pugliese landscape, connect with its people and soak up its culture.

Enjoying a relaxed Sunday lunch at one of the nearby farms (masserie) where the menu is based on local Pugliese produce. Admiring the frescoes in the church at Galatina and having a wine tasting in a nearby 'azienda agraria'.
